A fund raising evening will be held on Saturday 10th December at 7.30 pm with tickets costing £7.50.
St. Petersburg Charity Forum was formed in 1995 to PROMOTE LINKS on a charitable, educational, medical and cultural basis between groups in the UK and their counterparts in Russia, and to expand the knowledge of each other’s culture, history, language and educational system. There are four Trustees.
Anne Fawbert is going to St. Petersburg on Tuesday 27th January 2006 to give The Immortal Memory at the Shuvalov Palace House of Friendship. She will be presenting medals to the winners of the International Essay Competitions of “The Robert Burns World Federation” and help judge “The Knowledge of Scotland” competition. During her time there she will visit the cancer care clinic and the orphanage for which the charity raise funds.
The Skelmorlie Poosie Nancies Burns Club are organising a fund raiser for the charity at the Skelmorlie Community Centre, 13 Skelmorlie Castle Road, Skelmorlie.
They are having a Cheese,Wine and entertainment evening on Saturday 10th December 2005 7.30.
