The Ten Unique Corporate Support Program Opportunities

The World Burns Club is a completely free resource thus providing unlimited worldwide access to our extensive archives of information. In promoting this corporate support program, we have identified the following areas of the site as being the key sections. Each section is highly visible from not only the main front page, but also cross-indexed throughout, making it very easy to navigate through the site.

The ten key areas available are as follows: -

1. Burns Poems & Songs: - This section includes a user friendly archive of all Burns’ published works. It is a key resource within the site and not only provides each poem in its entirety, but also a translation of each piece into Standard English, which proves to be very popular.

2. The Discussion Forum: - Our very popular interactive discussion area within the site, where visitors from around the world drop in to discuss a wide spectrum of Burns related subjects.

3. The Letters of Burns: - This archive of Burns’ famous letters continues to grow. It provides a fascinating insight into the man himself and provides an incredible description of social history. Some consider Burns’ letters to be more appealing than certain areas of his published poetry and as such, we are committed to significantly increasing the number available.

4. The Beginners Guide: - A key philosophy of The World Burns Club is to meet with the demand to present Burns in a more user-friendly manner. This highly popular area of the site assists those who may otherwise be intimidated by the magnitude of the subject.

6. The Burns Supper: - The site would not be complete without covering in depth the internationally renowned phenomenon that is “The Burns Supper”. This section is highly popular and provides a clear step-by-step guide to what’s involved. Great Fun!

7. The “Auld Lang Syne” Newsletter:- Our monthly e-zine which is e-mailed to members of The World Burns Club. Published on-site, it covers a variety of topics, articles and snip-its from the world of Burns.

8. Features & Archives:- This is our extensive and heavily used archive area which presents a wealth of articles. It comprises previously published articles within the site and is indexed into categories to allow our visitors to readily find the material they are looking for.

9. Schools & Education: - Our latest area, still under development, is presented with educational material aimed at very young school children and older students. This area will prove to be an important resource for teachers looking for easy access to quality educational material. We consider this to be a vital area of our site development and anticipate high traffic levels.
